Ovantra Health helps Malaysian patients coordinate enquiries with hospitals and oncology specialists in China. We provide the administrative and linguistic support needed to navigate cross-border healthcare.

Contact Liaison

1. Understanding Cancer Treatment in China

When faced with a cancer diagnosis, families often explore international options. Large hospitals in China often see a substantial number of cases, allowing medical teams to develop extensive clinical experience.

These hospitals may utilize various medical technologies and offer multidisciplinary treatment pathways, where clinically appropriate. However, navigating a foreign healthcare system involves significant administrative and language barriers. This is where professional coordination becomes essential.

2. How Ovantra Helps

We provide dedicated administrative liaison services for Malaysian patients. Our role is strictly focused on logistics, coordination, and translation, ensuring that you can communicate effectively with your chosen medical team in China. You can read more about our general approach on our How It Works page, or learn about our background on our About Us page.

3. Medical Record Preparation & Translation

Accurate medical information is crucial. We collect your local medical records, imaging, and pathology reports, translating these documents into professional medical Mandarin. This allows Chinese specialists to accurately review your clinical history before any decisions are made.

04

4. Hospital & Specialist Coordination

We assist with identifying appropriate facilities and doctors based on your diagnosis. Through our hospital coordination network, we manage the enquiry process, submit your translated records, and handle the administrative scheduling with the chosen department.

05

5. Remote Consultation

Before committing to travel, patients can benefit from a Cancer Second Opinion. We coordinate teleconsultations with specialists in China, allowing you to discuss your condition and explore potential treatment pathways remotely.

06

6. Translation During Teleconsultation

During your remote video or audio consultations, our team provides real-time translation support. We ensure that your questions are clearly communicated to the doctor, and that you fully understand their medical feedback.

07

7. Hospital Admission Guidance

If you choose to proceed with treatment in China, we provide administrative guidance regarding the hospital admission process. We help you understand the registration requirements and coordinate your initial arrival at the hospital via our Medical Concierge service.

8. What Patients Arrange Themselves

While we assist with medical coordination and translation, patients and their families remain responsible for their own travel logistics. Ovantra Health does not book travel or provide on-site interpreting in China.

  • Flights and Visas: You must arrange your own transportation to China and secure appropriate visas.
  • Accommodation: You are responsible for booking hotels or long-term accommodation for you and your family.
  • In-Person Interpretation: Where available, the treating hospital may provide an interpreter. Availability should be confirmed with the hospital in advance.

9. Medical Decision-Making
